The Eagles are flying at Horsefly Lake

The Kokanee are spawning on the shores of Horsefly Lake and the eagles are here feasting.  The bald eagles look very regal but they do not rule the show here – the larger Golden Eagles get first choice and defend their territory ferociously!

October activity in Horsefly

Kokanee are spawning on Horsefly Lake beaches. Fall colours are still out there in areas protected by the wind
